Herbs and Spices
What is the difference?
Herb: is the green, leafy part of the plant
Spice: comes from the root, stem, seed, fruit, flower or bark
A plant can be both an herb and a spice.

To expand on what an adaptogen is: it is a substance that adapts to what the body needs and helps balance the imbalances that are causing an unhealthy condition.
Astragalus: is an adaptogen that helps strengthen the immune system and is very beneficial to cardiovascular health. It helps fight off disease and stress.

There are very many herbs and spices (too many to list here) that GOD has provided to help us feel better when we are not feeling well.
The pharmaceutical companies do not what you to know how good herbs and spices are because there is no big profit to be made.
There is no reason (except in a critical emergency) for anyone to take a man-made drug.
Herbs and spices work with the body as opposed to drugs that may fix one problem and cause several other problems.
Drugs work against the body’s healing processes and functions.
Do your own research on the many herbs and spices and you will be very amazed at the benefits they offer. Some other herbs and spices to consider are Basil, Cilantro, Marjoram, Tarragon, and Peppermint.
